A MONTHLY MIDDLE TENNESSEE GATHERING

Meet me. Cook with me. Eat with me.

Once a month, people seeking food and community will gather around one table. I’ll teach the main dish. Every household will take responsibility for a side. We’ll prepare the meal, learn together, and sit down to eat as neighbors.

PUTTING DOWN ROOTS

Our way of becoming part of the place we call home.

The Family Table is my way of connecting directly with the local community and expanding our family’s roots in Middle Tennessee.

I want us to be known here - not simply through a website, but through shared work, honest conversation, and meals with people who become familiar faces. My family will be there to welcome you, meet your family, and be part of the gathering. I’ll take care of the logistics, instruction, and execution so everyone can participate.

This is community-centered under the Conversions By Jesus brand. You don’t need to arrive with a particular background or belief. You only need an interest in food, people, and contributing to the table.

Jesus and his family in Middle Tennessee

WHAT YOU’LL LEAVE WITH

More than a meal.

The goal is for every guest - adults and children alike - to leave with something useful and something human.

More connected

Know more people in your local community and share a table with neighbors you may not have met otherwise.

More confident

Learn practical Mexican cooking skills through direct instruction, real-time feedback, and hands-on preparation.

More rooted

Experience Middle Tennessee through rotating gatherings, local spaces, and relationships built over time.

Personally encouraged

Leave fed, welcomed, and reminded that community can begin with one contribution to one shared table.

HOW THE SHARED MEAL WORKS

Everyone contributes. No one figures it out alone.

Before the gathering, each household receives an assigned side so the meal works as one complete table.

Receive your dish

You’ll receive an assigned side, ingredient guidance, and everything needed to understand your contribution.

Get direct support

If advance preparation is required, I’ll support you by email, text, phone, Google Meet, or video so you arrive confident.

Cook and gather

We’ll finish the dishes together, prepare the featured Mexican main dish, and then sit down to share what we made.

THERE’S A PLACE FOR YOU HERE

Good food. Time together. Room to belong.

Come as you are.

You don’t need to know everyone to have a place at the table.

Settle in and share a meal.

Food is prepared with care, with room to slow down and enjoy the people around you.

Let conversation become connection.

A shared plate and an unhurried evening can be the beginning of a new friendship.
